Bindu is our clothing brand.
BINDU means a DOT/Point, from where everything starts. In one of the Ravindranath Tagore's story "Mrunal Ki Chhithi", meaning of Bindu is well explained.
He says :
यह बिन्दु है। बिंदु से ही सब शुरू होता है, और बिंदु पर ही आकार खत्म होता है। जब तक दूसरा बिंदु न हो किसी भी तरह का विस्तार हो ही नहीं सकता। बिन्दु का बहुत महत्व है। बिंदु है तो विस्तार है, और बिंदु नही हो तो कुछ भी नहीं है।"
These were the inspirational words... Which motivated us to give our brand this name - called "BINDU". Bindu is a connecting point between Fabrics 'which are crafted n dyed with Authentic ancient Indian fabric dying n printing art techniques' And Latest trending Outfits. In the year 2015, Bindu Boutique was started 'a small boutique' in Pune. At Bindu Boutique we procure cotton fabric from artists all over India for making designers clothes. We make dresses and outfits from authentic ancient origin fabrics like Kalamkari, Ikkat, Mangalgiri , Ajrakh, Indigo and other block printed materials. Currently this is a small business which we wish to take to the next level.
Our motto behind this business goes two ways:
- Providing high quality pure cotton designer clothes to our customers.
- Providing business to rural artisans involved in production of authentic ancient Indian fabrics thus playing our part in preserving ancient traditional Indian art by linking it to the national and global market place.
